M/s.Sooryodhaya Developers, by the name looks like a “firm” that deals in “real estate” business; instead, this firm “firmly” believes in “value addition” and “NOT” just real estate.

Mrs.Lakshmi Narayanan & Mr.K.B.Narayanan (Chennai) wanted to start an “orphanage” and we bought one acre of land near Thiruvallur for this purpose 4 years back.

As we were NOT having money for construction of orphanage and for further running, we formed a TRUST in the name of “Sooryodhaya Charitable Trust”. Still, the expected funds were not coming, one of the trustees came out with an idea of buying the nearby lands and sell them as plots after conversion so that funds could be raised for orphanage.

The villagers agreed to give their lands for conversion into plots, but they demanded a community hall and a school for them. Though it was an extra burden, the Trust agreed.

M/s.Sooryodhaya Developers was started for “NOT” merely selling the “Plots" but for constructing the Orphanage, Community Hall and School.

Meanwhile, Sri Amman Sathiyanathan, author of Sri Raghavendra Mahimai Books and who has been writing the glory of Sri Rayaru for the past 2 1/2 decades, had announced his dream idea to “start” a Granthalaya for Sri Rayaru and he was looking for 1 to 2 grounds in and around Chennai.

Our Trust had decided to “donate” the one acre land to Sri Raghavendra Granthalaya.

When we had contacted Sri Amman Sathiyanathan over phone, he said he was in Mantralaya and standing in front of Moola Brindavana of Sri Rayaru and he had just then placed his request in writing before HIM for this purpose. On Maaga, Sudhdha, Dwadasi day, after attending Sri Sathyagnanara aaradhana in Triplicane Mutt, one of our trustees officially communicated to Sri Amman Sathiyanathan that our trust will donate the 1 acre land for construction of Sri Raghavendra Granthalaya.

After seeing the place Sri Amman Sathiyanathan said TWO things to us.
(1) He had decided to expand SRG in 2 to 3 acres
(2) We must bring maximum number of families, who are devotees of Sri Rayaru, over there.

The real “blessings of Sri Rayaru” were showered on us at this moment.

Sooryodhaya Developers and Sooryodhaya Charitable Trust received TWIN blessings from Sri Rayaru we sold  65 plots
(Total 117 plots) only to the devotees of Sri Rayaru.

Sri Amman Sathiyanathan has accepted and acknowledged the donation of land to SRG by our Trust and also has made an announcement on 01-01-2010 in Ayyanavaram Sri Rayar Mutt.

M/s.Sooryodhaya Charitable Trust, has located the area for constructing the orphanage, school and community hall as per the promise given to the villagers.

The Trust Will be approaching the respective authorities of each mutt, take their and act accordingly in installing the Mritika Brindavans.
